A Couple of Carpooling Tips

It’s back-to-school time, and you might be using a carpool to help you get your kids to class on time. At Castle Hills Motors in Lewisville, TX, we want you to be able to stay more organized and safer while carpooling, so we've come up with a few tips to help you get your kids and other people's children where they need to be.

One of the first things that you should do is create an emergency contact list. While there are measures that you can do to prevent accidents, a child can get sick in the car, have an allergic reaction, or get injured.

You should also make sure that everyone can have their own seat that's appropriate for their age and weight. Even on short trips, a child should never sit on the lap of another child. Children under the age of 13 shouldn't sit in the front seat, and children under 5 feet tall should be in a booster seat.
